Ben Irwin

Ben Irwin is a reporter covering San Jose politics and government for San José Spotlight.

His reporting experience includes stops at The Sun-Gazette in the Central Valley and The Stockton Record, where he broke a series of stories about corruption at Stockton Unified School District.

Ben graduated from Arizona State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in urban planning. He attended Sacramento City College in 2018 and graduated with an associate’s degree in journalism.
