Eli Wolfe is a senior reporter at San José Spotlight covering policy, politics and government.

He is an experienced investigative reporter with a keen interest in high-impact stories that hold powerful individuals and institutions to account. He previously worked as a staff reporter at FairWarning, a nonprofit investigative newsroom, where he covered labor, consumer protection, public health, environment and transportation safety. He has also worked as a federal courts reporter in Los Angeles and as a freelancer in the Bay Area.

Eli grew up in San Francisco and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Santa Cruz. When he’s not chasing stories he’s raising chickens in his backyard.
