Judy Ly grew up in San José and entered the world of journalism in high school. She is now an intern at San José Spotlight. Her work has been featured in the Summit PS News, Mercury News and Coalition of Human Needs. She also participated in Mosaic, a high school urban journalism workshop.

In her free time, she enjoys catching up with friends and listening to indie pop music.
