Loan-Anh Pham’s passion for communicating and sharing stories started in the eighth grade, and she has been actively pursuing a career in journalism ever since. She previously served as Editor-in-Chief for Milpitas High’s newspaper, The Union.

Loan-Anh aspires to be a gender editor, combining her passion for women’s rights with the knowledge that all voices deserve to be heard. Her favorite newspaper is The Lily.

As a San José Spotlight intern, she plans to shed light on the Vietnamese community’s struggles and achievements. Her favorite Vietnamese foods are bánh canh cua and bún thịt nướng chả giò!
