Nicholas Chan

Nicholas Chan is a senior at Santa Clara University with a major in environmental studies. He grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the Bay Area to pursue his undergraduate degree in 2016.

Nicholas got his first start in journalism as an intern for Metro Silicon Valley in the summer of 2019, covering issues like homelessness, housing affordability and criminal justice in Santa Clara County.

In his free time, he’s a rugby player and aspires to be a powerlifter once he graduates in December 2020.
