Paolo Zialcita is a proud San Jose native. He spent his high school days running around the various South Bay running trails and enjoying the fantastic Asian cuisine. After leaving the Bay Area four years ago, he’s back after accumulating first hand reporting experience at Connecticut Public Radio and KUNR Public Radio.
Paolo mostly covers politics and education, but he’s not afraid to step outside of that beat. He’s written about the financial impact of the local craft beer industry and directed a documentary about the last business in Reno’s razed Chinatown.
In another life, Paolo plays soccer for Tottenham Hotspur FC, alongside international superstars Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
