Hosted by former San Jose Mayor Ron Gonzales and his wife, marketing professional Guisselle Nuñez, we celebrated our official launch with more than 150 people — leaders from nonprofit, business, government, labor and elected officials — showing their commitment to independent journalism. The Nevada Independent founder and editor Jon Ralston delivered a riveting keynote address.
