Fact Brief: Is there a phone number residents can call to remotely move a Waymo?

There are two support phone numbers to contact Waymo in case an autonomous vehicle is blocking a driveway or the flow of traffic.

The direct Waymo support line is 1-844-261-3753. A caller follows the phone tree to general support which will put residents in touch with the car service’s support. A second phone number 1-877-503-0840 goes to Google, where residents can also request a self-driving taxi be moved. Residents can also request support through the Waymo website. 

This question stemmed from the recent rollout of Waymo’s self-driving cars to parts of the South Bay. In May the robotaxi service became available in Campbell, Cupertino, Willow Glen and Vista Park in San Jose. This West Valley expansion covers roughly 60 square miles of the South Bay and a total of 330 square miles for the greater Bay Area.
