Yes.

Road conditions on Lafayette Street in Santa Clara are under construction because of the Lafayette Street Pavement Rehabilitation and Bikeway Project. This project was funded by the Measure B 2016 initiative and grant funding provided by CalRecycle.

The Lafayette bikeway project is a pilot program for Santa Clara’s protected bike lanes and part of the city’s 2018 Bicycle Plan. In this plan, Santa Clara will add 70 miles of new bike paths around the city, increase rider safety and make car-free commuting easier for residents. During  construction the city will eliminate on-street parking for Lafayette between Memorex Drive and Parker Street
